GLOBAL INTEGRATION

Our client was going through a period of significant global integration and required leadership and management for a global programme of work.

During this time Lomax provided resource to complete end-to-end programme and project management capability including ownership of delivery of the global integration of the annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) programme across the technology function. The result was a co-ordinated and successfully delivered SOx and self-assessment programme of 5,000 controls across more than 20 countries.

ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE

Our resources were engaged to support organisational change for a listed corporation which required the creation of a new IT risk function.

Lomax successfully supported the set up a new IT risk function implementing an IT governance framework, including the introduction of IT Risk Boards. This involved the creation of a Target Operating Model for the new IT risk function in parallel with the introduction of the new approach to IT risk assessments.

RISK TRANSFORMATION

We can provide people who know about risk management. Using MSP and PRINCE 2 methodologies, resource was brought in to programme manage the delivery of a new IT risk framework as part of a high-risk and complex global programme. Robust business cases were developed to support investment decisions, partnering with a Big 4 firm to define and implement a new IT risk assessment approach, and drive the overall management of programme planning, resourcing and programme finances.

COMPLIANCE TRANSFORMATION

Our client wanted Lomax to provide specialist expertise to programme manage a high-risk change programme.

Our resource provided end-to-end programme and project management capability. This included all formal programme governance, risk management and reporting. The programme had five work streams of activity to deliver a compliance model that would ensure the principle of ‘test once and satisfy many’. Our people managed the delivery of a new control framework, testing strategy, management reporting and executive sponsorship for the use of a tooling solution to manage the compliance model. We understand the importance of managing stakeholder expectation. Key to the approach was significant engagement internally with executives, IT security, risk and internal audit teams, and externally with third-parties such as GRC solution providers and external auditors.
